Anvil Range Arts Society (ARAS)

Anvil Range Arts Society (ARAS) is a non-profit arts organization promoting and supporting local artists and craftspeople since 2001.

Working along side with the community, ARAS offers programs with the local school, college and Faro festivities throughout the year.  During the months of June through September ARAS members offer a variety of workshops and demonstrations at The Gallery and Gift Shop for residents and visitors.

We always welcome guests so feel free to drop in when you visit Faro.

Faro Golf Course

Come and play Faro's unique nine hole golf course, where our fairways meander throughout the community. We also invite groups to relax and hit some balls at our fine Driving Range.

Visitors can either bring their own gear or rent golf equipment, including power carts, from the Driving Range "Shack." Advance booking is recommended, as the Shack is staffed by volunteers.

Be sure to take in our annual Golf Tournament held in July, a favourite among golfing enthusiasts across the Yukon. The 16th Annual Faro Golf Tournament, using a scramble-format, will be held July 19-20, 2013.

Golfing in Faro is a UNIQUE EXPERIENCE! So come on out and enjoy the scenic views in our friendly community!
